Outbeat Radio is a program for, about, and produced by members of the Sonoma County LGBT Community, which airs on KRCB FM Santa Rosa each and every Sunday evening at 8pm.
You can listen to Outbeat Radio in the Santa Rosa area by tuning into 90.9 or 91.1 FM, on Comcast Digital Cable channel 961 and 202, or anywhere else in the world by listening to the live stream on the web. Live streaming links are in the right column of this site.
Outbeat Radio (which used to be called Outbeat Salon) first aired on KRCB in 1998, and has been on the air on KRCB continuously since. All members of the Outbeat Radio team are volunteers, and we are guided by the KRCB Radio Program Director, Robin Pressman. While each individual host, or team of hosts have complete control of their show’s programming, we work together as a team to formulate topics, and ensure coverage of areas which the team feels (or the community have told us) are important.
This website is for you – our listening audience – to access our programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will post all Outbeat Radio shows on this site, which will also make them available via the iTunes Podcast called Outbeat Radio. We post the shows as soon as possible after they air, but please keep in mind that we are all volunteers, and apologize for any delays in getting a show online.
We value your feedback, ideas, and want to hear from you! Please visit each individual show page to learn more about that show, and email that shows’ hosts. You are also welcome to send us a general email to info@outbeatradio.org! While we are on the air on Sundays from 8pm-9pm (preferably during music breaks or right after the show) you can call the studio and talk to us live – the line direct to the studio at KRCB is 707-584-2020!
Enjoy! We hope to hear from you!
