This month we were honored to have California Senator Mark Leno with us on the show to talk about a variety of issues including how the state budget cuts will be impacting local services and education.  Senator Leno gave us an update on same-sex marriage, for which he has been one of greatest champions in the legislature, and told us all about the Fair Education Act, his most recent piece of legislation that Governor Brown signed into law just this month.  On Outbeat Youth, Greg Miraglia talked with Shane Windmeyer, the creator and executive director of Campus Pride, about what LGBT college freshman should know about going off to college for the first time.
